Role

Hermeus is seeking an engineering intern to join our team in Atlanta for the Summer 2021 semester. The successful candidate will help define and execute Hermeus' engineering strategy. We looking for candidates with design and/or analysis experience in one or more of the these areas: aerodynamics, avionics, GNC, propulsion, software, structures, systems.

Responsibilities

  • Engineering tasks related to development of Hermeus products
  • Responsibilities range from owning propulsion mechanisms and components design, test stand initialization, designing and fabricating harnesses, analysis with thermal and structural consideration, writing flight software, designing PCBs, to aircraft integration.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Demonstrated engineering abilities from industry or student group project experience
  • Enthusiasm for aviation and Hermeus' mission
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S permanent resident (current Green Card holder)
  • GPA of 3.0 or above
